TabTrade — What It Is

 

 

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

 

 

That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

 

 

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

 

 

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is broad.

 

 

What You Trade On

 

 

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

 

 

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

 

 

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

 

 

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out once it is live.

 

 

Costs

 

 

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

 

 

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

 

 

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.

 

 

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

 

 

How Fast Are the Fills

 

 

The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

 

 

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

 

 

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

 

 

The FSRA Question

 

 

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

 

 

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.

 

 

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
